Rental Policies

1. HOLIDAY WEEKENDS REQUIRE A 3 NIGHT MINIMUM RENTAL.
2. The minimum age to reserve and register for a property is 25 years of age. This person must occupy the property for the full length of the reservation.
3. Check-in time is 4:00 – 5:00 P.M. Guests arriving later may call our offices to arrange for late check-ins. Check-out time is 11:00 A.M. Guests may be granted a later check-out time by management when possible by calling our offices. Guests occupying the property after the agreed check-out time without prior approval may be subject to additional charges up to an additional one (1) day rental.
4. There are no refunds for early departures.
5. CANCELLATIONS: SHORT TERM RENTALS: Clients needing to cancel more than 15 days before their arrival date will have their deposit refunded less a cancellation fee of $30.00 and their reservation fee of $26.50. Cancellations received 15 days or less prior to arrival will result in the loss of the first night's reservation costs including tax.
   
   LONG TERM RENTALS (30 days or more): Cancellations received more than 61 days in advance will receive a refund of the first month's rent less $100.00. Cancellations received less than 61 days will forfeit 1/2 of the first month's rent.
   
6. Pets are allowed on some properties for a fee of $15-25/day per pet depending on size and breed. Only two pets are allowed and both must be under 35 pounds.
7. Management reserves the right to enter the property at any time for the purpose of inspection and/or maintenance.

Pet Policies

1. Subject to the home owner's approval, 2 dogs (no cats, sorry) can be
   approved by Best Coast Rentals representative with a non-refundable pet fee.
2. Please keep your pet on a leash at all times the pet is allowed
   outside the property. The City of Port Aransas has a firm leash law which
   they do enforce.
3. Pets are not allowed in pool areas.
4. Excess barking leading to complaints of neighbors could result in
   you being asked to depart, with no financial adjustments to your bill.
5. Your pet must have been bathed to prevent fleas. If fleas are found
   in the home after your departure a $100.00 pest extermination charge will be
   made to your credit card.

YOU MUST HAVE PROOF OF YOUR PET'S CURRENT VACCINATIONS AS FOLLOWS:

1. Rabies Shot (required by Texas Law)
2. Bordetella Shots
3. DHPPC Records.
